Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 September 2026

These terms of use govern your access to and use of the elevateyouthlab.com website (the "Site"), operated by Supporting Communities Australia (SCA). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site provides information about the Elevate Youth Lab™ (EYL) framework, the youth mentoring and Positive Behaviour Support services delivered by SCA, and how to refer a young person to those services. The Site is intended for use by young people, families, carers, referrers, and professionals in the youth, disability, and community services sectors.

2. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, design, framework diagrams, and structure, is the intellectual property of Supporting Communities Australia unless otherwise noted, and is protected under Australian copyright law.

The Elevate Youth Lab™ name, framework, four-stage model, and four-pillar structure are proprietary to SCA. The framework is delivered exclusively through SCA and is not licensed or franchised to any other provider. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, or distribute the framework or any part of it for commercial use without written permission.

You may quote or link to material on the Site for non-commercial, editorial, or educational purposes, provided you attribute Supporting Communities Australia and Elevate Youth Lab™.

3. Accuracy of information

We aim to keep information on the Site current and accurate. Content may be updated without notice. The Site provides general information only and is not a substitute for individual advice about a specific young person's situation. Where the young person's needs are complex or urgent, please contact us directly or seek specialist advice.

4. Referral form and enquiries

Submitting a referral or enquiry through the Site does not create a service agreement. It begins a conversation. A service agreement is only formed once we have reviewed the referral, discussed it with you, and both parties have signed a written service agreement.

5. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, government resources, and partner organisations. We do not control or endorse third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use the Site to:

  • Break any law or regulation
  • Send unsolicited communications, spam, or harmful content through our forms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or any related systems
  • Copy or reproduce Site content for commercial use without permission
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, SCA excludes all warranties and liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, except where such exclusion would be contrary to Australian Consumer Law.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important. Please see our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

9. Complaints and feedback

Complaints about our services can be made through our Complaints and Feedback process, which is aligned with the NDIS Practice Standards.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
